I am the Managing Director of AccounTax Zone Limited. I work with business owners who want clarity around their finances and confidence in the decisions they’re making, not just at year end, but all year round.
I have two core roles. – The first is to support a select group of clients with high-quality, hands-on advice. My work focuses on tax planning, accounts, and practical financial guidance that actually makes sense in the real world. – The second is to act as a trusted sounding board for business owners, helping them think ahead, spot risks early, and make better financial decisions without the stress or jargon.
I trained in environments influenced by Big Four standards, but my approach is deliberately down-to-earth. I believe accountants should do more than file returns, they should help clients save tax, avoid surprises, and sleep better at night.

- I’m cricket-obsessed, playing, watching, analysing, and yes, I will occasionally compare tax planning to batting patiently
- I genuinely enjoy solving messy financial problems (the messier, the better)
- I believe good advice should help you sleep better at night – if it doesn’t, it’s not good advice

I am the Director of Operations at AccounTax Zone Limited. I work behind the scenes to make sure our clients receive a consistently high standard of service – accurate, timely, and well thought through.
I bring experience from top-tier accounting firms, including KPMG and Smith & Williamson, with hands-on exposure across auditing, accounting, tax, management reporting, and financial reporting. That breadth allows me to see the full picture, not just the numbers, but what they actually mean for a business.
I have two key roles.
- The first is ensuring our internal processes, systems, and teams are working efficiently so nothing slips through the cracks.
- The second is supporting clients with reliable, well-structured financial information that helps them run their businesses with confidence.
I’m naturally detail-focused but forward-looking. I like things done properly, with foresight – so problems are avoided rather than fixed after the fact.
3 interesting facts about me:
- I’m a keen hiker and trekker and love escaping to the mountains with my family (fresh air, good views, and a café at the end is non-negotiable)
- I’m a regular at the gym, focusing on strength training – partly for health, partly to keep up on long hikes.
- I enjoy reading books on self-improvement and leadership, then turning the best ideas into short summary videos – saving others time while telling myself it’s “research.”
